Ceremonies
Waltham Abbey Town Council has three rooms that are licensed to hold weddings and civil ceremonies: The James Suite, The Council Chamber and The Cornmill Suite.
The James Suite is our Community Ceremony Room which can seat up to 50 guests. This has recently been refurbished.
The Council Chamber is a beautiful room on the first floor that overlooks the Abbey Church and can hold up to 38 guests.
The Cornmill Suite is our Town Hall and can hold up to 200 Guests.
The facilities and function rooms can be viewed by prior arrangement only – please telephone 01992 714949 to make an appointment.
Receptions
The Council Chamber and the Cornmill Suite are available from 10:00am to 16:00pm for ceremonies Monday to Saturday along with the James Suite from 13:00pm – 16:00pm on a Saturday for an additional fee.
Arrangements can be made for the hire of the Cornmill Suite for both afternoon and evening receptions. The Cornmill Suite offers a fully stocked and licensed bar area.
