Introduction to Council
This site has been set up to act as an information resource for the local community, and to act as a guide to our town for potential visitors from around the world.

The site contains information on local organisations, local businesses, and has a “What’s On” calendar. If you want to advertise your event, please e-mail details to the Town Council, and we will be pleased to add it to our calendar.
The galleries now include photos of the town and several of the events that take place each year. There are links to other organisations including Epping Forest District Council, the Royal Gunpowder Mills to name just two.
The news section gives brief highlights of what is happening around the Town, and often includes information on forthcoming events.
